The New York Times bestseller and Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick

“This love story between Lucy & Gabe spans decades and continents as two star-crossed lovers try to return to each other…Will they ever meet again? This book kept me up at night, turning the pages to find out, and the ending did not disappoint.”—Reese Witherspoon

One Day meets Me Before You meets your weekender bag.”—The Skimm

“Extraordinary.”—Emily Giffin

He was the first person to inspire her, to move her, to truly understand her. Was he meant to be the last?

Lucy is faced with a life-altering choice. But before she can make her decision, she must start her story—their story—at the very beginning.

Lucy and Gabe meet as seniors at Columbia University on a day that changes both of their lives forever. Together, they decide they want their lives to mean something, to matter. When they meet again a year later, it seems fated—perhaps they'll find life's meaning in each other. But then Gabe becomes a photojournalist assigned to the Middle East and Lucy pursues a career in New York. What follows is a thirteen-year journey of dreams, desires, jealousies, betrayals, and, ultimately, of love. Was it fate that brought them together? Is it choice that has kept them away? Their journey takes Lucy and Gabe continents apart, but never out of each other's hearts.

This devastatingly romantic debut novel about the enduring power of first love, with a shocking, unforgettable ending, is Love Story for a new generation.

“It's the epic love story of 2017.”—Redbook

Fall in love with The Simplicity of Cider, the charming new novel about a prickly but gifted cider-maker whose quiet life is interrupted by the arrival of a handsome man and his young son at her family’s careworn orchard by the author of The Coincidence of Coconut Cake and Luck, Love & Lemon Pie.

Don’t miss Amy’s newest work of women’s fiction: The Optimist’s Guide to Letting Go!

Focused and unassuming fifth generation cider-maker Sanna Lund has one desire: to live a simple, quiet life on her family’s apple orchard in Door County, Wisconsin. Although her business is struggling, Sanna remains fiercely devoted to the orchard, despite her brother’s attempts to convince their aging father to sell the land.

Single dad Isaac Banks has spent years trying to shield his son Sebastian from his troubled mother. Fleeing heartbreak at home, Isaac packed up their lives and the two headed out on an adventure, driving across the country. Chance—or fate—led them straight to Sanna’s orchard.

Isaac’s helping hands are much appreciated at the apple farm, even more when Sanna’s father is injured in an accident. As Sanna’s formerly simple life becomes increasingly complicated, she finds solace in unexpected places—friendship with young Sebastian and something more deliciously complex with Isaac—until an outside threat infiltrates the farm.

From the warm and funny Amy E. Reichert, The Simplicity of Cider is a charming love story with a touch of magic, perfect for fans of Sarah Addison Allen and Gayle Forman.

For more than a century, pilgrims from all over the world seeking romance and passion have made their way to the City of Light. The seductive lure of Paris has long been irresistible to lovers, artists, epicureans, and connoisseurs of the good life. Globe-trotting film critic and writer John Baxter heard her siren song and was bewitched. Now he offers readers a witty, audacious, scandalous behind-the-scenes excursion into the colorful all-night show that is Paris -- interweaving his own experience of falling in love, with a delightfully salacious tour of the sultry Parisian corners most guidebooks ignore: from the literary cafés of Hemingway, Fitzgerald, and de Beauvoir to the brothels where Dietrich and Duke Ellington held court, where Salvador Dali sated his fantasies, and Edward VII kept a sumptuous champagne bath for his favorite girls.

When We Were Gods: Insights on Atlantis, Past Lives, Angelic Beings of Light and Spiritual Awakening is the powerful true story of a woman whose life takes an amazing turn when she dreams about a stranger she will marry. She sees him in waking life the next day, she uses a 40 day prayer asking to meet her twin soul. On the 39th day of the prayer, she literally bumps into her dream man.

After Carole Chapman marries "the man of her dreams" she begins to realize that their soulmate meeting was merely the first step in an amazing cosmic adventure. She consults a hypnotherapist to reverse a rapid weight gain following a miscarriage. Under past life regression, she discovers reincarnation causes of overweight and suffering.

She also stumbles upon her levitation experiences with the Great Crystal in the lost continent of Atlantis and sees her part in building the Great Pyramid.

The Christ Consciousness, Archangel Michael, and Gabriel appear in her hypnosis as spiritual guides. They give her a life mission of awakening "the Golden Ones” –souls who agreed in Atlantean times to reincarnate NOW, when we are again close to annihilation, to bring in a new world.

She is to tell "the Golden Ones" the history of our souls on earth, including her past life memories of travelling in a UFO and entering the earth with other Light Being extraterrestrials through a stargate. She sees her progression through the Root Races and views a future with a new human form similar to the Edgar Cayce Atlantis readings on the Fifth Root Race.

When she begins to make 2012 prophecies, gives a timeline for earth changes, and predicts ascension, she feels overwhelmed. She also correctly predicts an earthquake a year ahead of time. Her predictions include 2012 and beyond to 1000 years of peace.

Her spiritual guides tell her to share her experiences with others because it will help them to see there is life after death. While writing the book, channeling comes from the Greek God Pan telling humanity how to invite the Nature Kingdom to clean the earth. After including Pan’s message in the book, Chapman’s organic garden grows vegetables of Findhorn proportions, photos included.

Shaken by her unusual experiences, Chapman travels with her husband to Mayan ruins in the Yucatan. Here, she finds confirmation of her extraordinary memories and also solves the riddle of the ancient Maya fascination with the feathered serpent.

Her narrative offers all readers a greater understanding of (1) the true reasons for human death and suffering, including the fact that death is really a "new thing" in our souls’ history; (2) the amazing power of the unconscious, in which everything is already known to us and only requires our remembering; and (3) the reasons for our urgent need to live closer to nature to heal our planet while at the same time preparing us for the vibrationally lighter bodies of the new root race. Chapman’s experiences help the reader to cope with their own encounters with the unexplained in their own lives.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Carole Chapman is an inspirational speaker, a new age metaphysical author, a nature photographer, and an independent filmmaker. Formerly a photojournalist at NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia, she has had photographs and articles published around the world. In addition to authoring When We Were Gods, she provided the many amazing photographs found throughout the book, including the cover.

Carol has also appeared on several talk radio shows, including Coast to Coast AM (Art Bell & George Noory) and the Doug Stephan Show. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Prescott College in Arizona and studied photography and filmmaking at Ryerson U. in Toronto.
